Recent forecasts from agencies including the Met Office and national meteorological services place Panama City's September 24 high near 31°C, aligning with the market's leading 41.5% implied probability. Typical late-September conditions under the influence of the Intertropical Convergence Zone bring humid air masses, scattered convection, and daytime maxima historically averaging 31–32°C. Model consensus shows modest cooling potential from increased cloud cover and showers, keeping outcomes clustered between 30–32°C while limiting upside risk above 33°C. Traders appear to weigh these near-term model runs against climatological baselines, with resolution hinging on official observational maxima reported within the next 24 hours.
