**Official National Weather Service forecasts for San Francisco on September 10, 2026, point to a high near 75°F under mostly sunny conditions as onshore flow and the marine layer return following recent heat.** Recent days saw downtown highs of 81–85°F amid offshore winds that suppressed cooling, but models now favor a cooldown with west-southwest winds of 8–18 km/h and gusts to 34 km/h. This positions the market’s clustered 78–81°F outcomes (over 50% combined implied probability) slightly above consensus guidance, reflecting trader assessment of microclimate variability across stations, potential model spread in boundary-layer moisture, and the narrow margin between comfortable and warmer readings typical for the date (historical average high ~70.5°F). Key variables include the precise timing and depth of any marine intrusion or afternoon clearing, which can shift maxima by several degrees within the city. Updated NWS briefings and model runs will provide the next resolution-relevant data.
