Bruce Blakeman’s role as Nassau County Executive anchors his strong positioning in local polling, where he has led or remained competitive against Kathy Hochul in Nassau-specific and Long Island samples throughout 2026. Recent Siena/Newsday surveys show him ahead on Long Island overall, reflecting suburban voter priorities on affordability, energy costs, and public safety that align with his platform. Hochul maintains a statewide edge driven by Democratic enrollment advantages and urban support, yet these factors weigh less heavily in Nassau, where Republican candidates have historically performed better. Trader consensus reflects these regional patterns and Blakeman’s home-county incumbency advantage with six weeks until the November 3 election.

The candidates will be primarily ranked by the number of valid votes received in the specified election. If two or more candidates are tied on valid votes, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the candidate last names. This market will resolve to the candidate that occupies the highest finishing position after applying this ranking.
Candidates who are listed on multiple ballot lines under New York's fusion voting system will have their vote totals determined based on the sum of all votes for that candidate.
If the results of the election in the specified county are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, this market will resolve to "Other."
This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of New York, including the New York State Board of Elections and the government of Nassau County.
