Trader sentiment for Denver's September 21 high temperature centers on National Weather Service and local model runs projecting mid-70s readings under partly to mostly sunny skies after recent scattered thunderstorms. These outcomes reflect building high pressure favoring subsidence, clear to broken cloud cover, and light easterly or variable winds that limit strong downslope warming at the city's 5,280-foot elevation. Small differences in forecast cloud thickness, boundary-layer mixing, or exact wind direction explain the near-even split between the 74–75°F and 76–77°F bins, each near historical September 21 averages around 77°F. Overnight model updates or morning observations could refine these probabilities before the daily maximum is recorded.
