Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts indicate a Friday high near 76-77°F for Denver under partly cloudy skies following Thursday showers, driving the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 72-77°F bins. Post-frontal northerly flow and gradual southerly return are promoting modest diurnal warming after a cooler spell, with model consensus on limited afternoon cloud cover and light winds limiting further intensification. Historical late-September averages near 75°F provide context, while minor spread in ensemble guidance on exact cloud timing and boundary-layer mixing creates the narrow differentiation between 74-75°F and 76-77°F outcomes. Updated model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion will likely narrow resolution uncertainty before market close.
