Recent hot and humid conditions in Karachi, driven by a low-pressure system over the Arabian Sea that weakened sea breezes and allowed temperatures to reach 40.7°C on September 21, are now moderating ahead of September 25. Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasts and model consensus point to maximums near 33–34°C under partly cloudy skies with strengthening westerly winds and resumed sea breezes, consistent with late-September climatology where average highs hover around 32–33°C. Trader-implied probabilities cluster tightly on 32–35°C because small variations in humidity, cloud cover, or breeze timing can shift the daily peak by 1–2°C, while the low odds on extremes reflect the low likelihood of renewed heatwave conditions or unusual cooling within this narrow forecast window.
