United Russia secured a decisive majority in the Tver Oblast Legislative Assembly election held September 18–20, 2026, capturing all 20 single-mandate districts and 11 proportional-representation seats for a total of 31 of 40 mandates. Official results showed the party receiving roughly 45 percent of the party-list vote amid a mixed electoral system that favors established organizations with strong regional organization. Other parties including the CPRF, New People, and LDPR cleared the 5 percent threshold for limited proportional seats but won none of the constituency races. This outcome reflects the ruling party’s consistent performance in Russian regional legislative contests, where incumbency, administrative resources, and parallel voting structures typically consolidate support. Trader pricing at 99.3 percent for United Russia as the seat leader aligns with these confirmed tallies; shifts would require substantial post-election adjustments such as widespread recounts or legal challenges, neither of which appear underway.
