Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models indicate Atlanta will experience mostly sunny to sunny conditions on August 25 under northwest flow and surface high pressure, supporting daytime highs in the low 90s. Dry air with dew points in the upper 50s to low 60s and light winds will favor strong solar heating without significant cloud cover or moisture to limit temperatures, though seasonal norms near 88°F and recent model runs temper expectations for extreme warmth. This consensus aligns with market-implied odds favoring the 92–93°F bin as the mode, while the combined probability near 50% for 94°F or higher reflects residual uncertainty in afternoon peak readings and minor forecast adjustments. Traders appear to weigh the recent above-average heat wave against stabilizing high-pressure influences expected to moderate the peak.
