Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Clear skies and light northerly winds are expected to promote strong radiational cooling overnight, supporting the market's tight split between a 66-67°F low (42.5% implied) and warmer outcomes around 76-77°F (41.5%). Official guidance from NWS and model consensus shows Tuesday's minimum near 67-72°F under mostly clear conditions, consistent with Atlanta's late-August climatology where average lows hover near 70°F. Recent northerly flow has brought slightly drier air, lowering dew points and enhancing overnight temperature drops compared to the muggy pattern earlier in the month. Traders are weighing model spread on boundary-layer mixing and any subtle warm advection that could keep readings above 70°F. Updated NHC and local forecast discussions tonight will likely refine the overnight minimum before resolution.
