This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the LaGuardia Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 25 Aug '26. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Clear skies, light west winds, and dry post-frontal air are expected to produce a typical late-August overnight low in New York City on August 25, 2026, with official forecasts centering on the mid-60s.** National Weather Service and WeatherBug guidance show a sunny day with highs near 78–80°F followed by mostly clear conditions and lows in the mid-60s (around 64–67°F) for Central Park and area airports. This aligns closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 67.2°F. Recent days have featured similar readings (63–67°F), with the pattern supported by west-southwest flow that limits moisture and allows moderate radiational cooling under clear skies. Market-implied odds cluster tightly around 62–67°F because numerical weather models show only modest spread in boundary-layer temperatures and dew points overnight; small differences in wind speed or residual cloud cover can shift the minimum by a couple of degrees. Lower-probability tails (below 60°F or above 70°F) reflect the low but non-zero chance of stronger cooling or unexpected mixing. The market therefore prices the consensus forecast range while incorporating residual model uncertainty for the precise minimum temperature recorded at the official Central Park site.
