Recent Met Office and ensemble forecasts position 22°C as the most probable high for London on September 19, driven by persistent southwesterly flow, extensive cloud cover, and moderate winds that limit daytime solar heating. Model consensus shows little support for stronger warming or significant cooling, with 21–23°C outcomes capturing the bulk of implied probability amid typical mid-September variability. Recent developments include a transition from earlier unsettled conditions to more stable but overcast patterns, keeping temperatures near seasonal averages without notable model shifts in the past 48 hours. Updated guidance and any late adjustments to boundary-layer moisture or wind strength ahead of the date remain the key variables for traders.
