Recent Met Office guidance and ensemble model consensus indicate a maximum of 22–23°C for London on September 4, driven by a strengthening westerly flow, increased cloud cover, and patchy light rain that will limit daytime heating after the warmer conditions expected on the 3rd. Official forecasts show highs near 23°C with overnight lows around 12–13°C, consistent with early-September climatology under neutral ENSO conditions. Traders appear to weight the 22°C outcome most heavily because short-range model runs cluster tightly in this narrow band, though minor shifts in timing of any clearing could push the daily peak to 21°C or 24°C. Updated NWP guidance and Met Office briefings later today represent the next key data points that could refine these market-implied probabilities.
