Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Dallas on September 2 indicate highs near 94–98°F amid a persistent upper-level ridge and southerly flow, with 20–30% afternoon shower chances potentially introducing cloud cover that limits peak heating. Trader consensus clusters tightly around the 94–97°F bins (combined ~65% implied probability), reflecting uncertainty in exact cloud timing and boundary-layer moisture rather than major forecast shifts. Persistent late-August heat with minimal rainfall has kept baseline temperatures elevated above seasonal norms, while any increased instability could favor the lower 90s; upcoming NWS updates and afternoon observations will likely refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
