Persistent southerly flow from the Gulf of Mexico, combined with high dew points near 70–72°F and limited overnight radiational cooling, positions the Dallas low temperature for September 2 near the upper 70s. Official National Weather Service guidance and ensemble model consensus indicate overnight minima of 76–79°F under partly cloudy skies with a 40–50% chance of evening showers. This pattern aligns with climatological norms for early September, when average lows hover around 75°F without frontal passages. Trader emphasis on the 78–79°F bin reflects the tight forecast range and low probability of significant deviations from current model runs.
