Recent National Weather Service observations confirm a minimum temperature of 62°F at San Francisco International Airport on September 2, 2026, six degrees above the 1991–2020 normal of 56°F and consistent with downtown readings near 61°F. An early-season frontal system and persistent marine layer suppressed overnight cooling while delivering light rain and haze, keeping the low elevated relative to typical September conditions. This verified data anchors the market's overwhelming 100% implied probability on the 62–63°F bin. A lower outcome would require resolution criteria tied to a specific downtown or microclimate station reporting 60°F or below, or post-event data revisions, though current official summaries make such shifts unlikely.
