Current forecasts for Mexico City on September 9 place the daily maximum near 22–24°C, with trader odds split closely between 24°C and 25°C or higher due to uncertainty in afternoon convective timing. At 2,240 m elevation during the peak rainy season, persistent cloud cover, high humidity, and scattered showers—driven by daytime heating and orographic lift—typically cap peaks near the September climatological average of 23–24°C. Brief breaks in overcast skies or delayed precipitation could allow slightly higher readings, while stronger storms would suppress them. Official CONAGUA observations and updated model runs through the afternoon will clarify resolution between these adjacent bins.
