Recent forecasts from global models indicate a cool, mostly overcast day for São Paulo on September 24, with daytime highs expected near 16–20 °C amid lingering moisture and light southeasterly flow. This follows an unusually wet September driven by repeated frontal passages and a South Atlantic dipole pattern that has suppressed temperatures well below the 23–24 °C seasonal normal. Consensus among GFS, Met Office, and regional guidance points to limited insolation and modest boundary-layer mixing, keeping maxima clustered around 18–19 °C. Trader positioning favors 19–20 °C outcomes because those align with the narrow spread of current model runs, while lower probabilities on 21 °C+ reflect slim upside if clearing occurs earlier than expected. Official INMET station data will resolve the market.
