Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance points to a highest temperature in Seattle on September 7 most likely between 68–72 °F, aligning with market-implied odds that place the 68–69 °F and 70–71 °F bins at the top. Persistent onshore flow from the Pacific and marine-layer clouds are expected to moderate daytime heating, keeping highs near or slightly below the 1991–2020 climatological average of 72.6 °F. Light southerly winds and possible drizzle may further suppress maxima, while any clearing could allow brief warming toward 74 °F. Ensemble spread remains modest, with resolution hinging on the exact timing of cloud break-up and boundary-layer mixing on the day itself.
