Recent forecasts from Environment Canada project a sunny 25°C high for Toronto on September 5 under northerly flow, while several global models indicate 22–24°C amid partly cloudy skies and lighter winds. This split underpins the near-even market weighting between 24°C and 25°C. Early-September climatology shows a long-term average high near 24°C, so current guidance sits close to seasonal norms following warmer conditions earlier in the week. Key variables include the strength of the high-pressure ridge and any afternoon mixing that could nudge the peak temperature across the 24–25°C threshold; updated model runs and official briefings over the next 48 hours are expected to sharpen resolution.
