Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model runs project a Saturday high near 84–86°F for downtown Los Angeles, supported by light southwesterly flow and minimal marine-layer influence, yet the closely matched 78–79°F and 80–81°F market bins reflect trader focus on potential cooling from coastal stratus or slight timing shifts in the sea breeze. Historical September climatology shows average highs near 77°F with frequent marine moderation, while recent observations of 83–84°F highs underscore the narrow range separating outcomes. The market aggregates real-capital assessments of these variables ahead of tomorrow’s official NWS reading at the primary station.
