Recent polling trends and the May 2026 government reshuffle position Apvienotais Saraksts (AS) as the frontrunner to secure the most Saeima seats on October 3, 2026. The collapse of the prior coalition after the Progressives withdrew and the subsequent formation of a new four-party government including AS, New Unity, National Alliance, and the Union of Greens and Farmers elevated AS visibility ahead of the vote. Latvia First (LPV) and Sovereign Power (SV) trail in surveys but retain support among voters seeking alternatives to established coalitions. The highly fragmented field, with multiple parties near or above the 5% threshold, makes seat totals sensitive to turnout shifts and late campaign dynamics. Trader consensus reflects these patterns in current implied probabilities.
