Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Current National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance points to overnight lows of 78–80°F in Houston on September 7 under southerly flow, elevated dew points near 75°F, and limited radiational cooling from cloud cover and humidity. This aligns with seasonal norms slightly above the 1991–2020 average minimum of 74.5°F, with only modest day-to-day variability expected from scattered afternoon storms. Trader sentiment on the extremes likely reflects residual uncertainty in storm timing or subtle steering patterns that could allow brief clear-sky cooling or warmer advection, though consensus has narrowed around the mid-to-upper 70s range as the period closes.
