The 2026 Rio Grande do Norte Senate race features two seats, with polling from mid-2026 showing a tight contest among Styvenson Valentim (Podemos), Samanda Alves (PT), Coronel Hélio (PL), and Rafael Motta (PDT) for the top positions. Recent AtlasIntel surveys placed Valentim narrowly ahead at around 21%, followed closely by the others within the margin of error, while Zenaide Maia and lower-polling names trailed. This competitive field, driven by coalition dynamics and voter distribution across major parties, keeps second-place outcomes fluid among several contenders. Trader consensus reflects these narrow gaps, with no single candidate pulling decisively ahead in recent data releases. Key upcoming campaign events and additional surveys could shift positioning ahead of the October vote.
