This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Close price for Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) on August 7, 2026 is higher than the listed price. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.META%2FUSD.Meta's stock has traded with notable volatility following its July 29 Q2 2026 earnings release, where revenue growth continued but per-share results and forward guidance fell short of expectations amid higher AI infrastructure costs. Traders are focusing on the company's raised 2026 capital expenditure range of $130-145 billion for AI chips, data centers, and custom silicon development, which has pressured near-term margins while analysts highlight potential long-term benefits from AI-driven ad targeting and a planned cloud compute business. Recent analyst commentary from firms like Morgan Stanley has supported a rebound, with the stock showing recovery signs by early August. No major catalysts are scheduled for August 7 itself, leaving daily market sentiment and broader tech sector moves as key swing factors for the closing price.
