Seattle Mariners lead trader consensus at 51% implied probability for the 2026 AL West crown, driven by their deep, cost-controlled pitching rotation featuring Luis Castillo, Logan Gilbert, and George Kirby, paired with young stars like Julio Rodríguez and J.P. Crawford locked in long-term. Houston Astros (24%) cling to contention via Yordan Alvarez's extension and Corbin Carroll-like infusion from rookie Jacob Melton, but an aging core and free-agent losses like Jose Altuve post-2025 erode their edge after claiming 2024's division. Texas Rangers (20%) boast Corey Seager and Marcus Semien's stability, yet injury woes linger; Oakland Athletics (8%) and Angels (6.1%) trail amid rebuilds, with Vegas-bound A's prioritizing prospects over contention. Recent farm system rankings boost Seattle's outlook.
