Recent official forecasts from sources like the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts and GFS models indicate a sharp cooldown in Ankara on September 14, with daytime highs projected near 26–27°C after peaks of 32–33°C on the prior two days. This shift stems from a transition to stronger westerly winds, increased boundary-layer mixing, and modest moisture advection that limits afternoon heating despite mostly clear skies. The narrow spread between the leading market outcomes reflects minor divergences across ensemble members on exact peak timing and wind gust strength, which can alter surface temperatures by 1°C. Historical September climatology for the region shows typical highs near 25–28°C, placing the current consensus within normal late-summer variability as resolution approaches.
