National Weather Service forecasts point to sunny conditions and a high near 94°F for Houston on August 29, driven by strong high pressure, light easterly winds, and high solar insolation under mostly clear skies. Trader sentiment remains evenly distributed across the mid-90s bins because of small but meaningful model differences in afternoon boundary-layer mixing, sea-breeze timing, and any thin high-cloud development that could shave a degree or two from the peak. Historical late-August climatology supports readings in this range, yet the exact maximum hinges on whether surface heating reaches full potential before any subtle stabilization occurs.
