Recent official forecasts from the UK Met Office and supporting models point to a Monday maximum near 24°C for London, following a warmer Sunday, with ensemble runs showing modest spread due to variable cloud cover and southwesterly winds that could limit peak solar heating. This uncertainty keeps implied probabilities nearly even between 23°C and 24°C, as slight shifts in timing or thickness of any incoming cloud layers could tip the daily high either way. Historical early-September averages hover around 20–21°C, making current guidance mildly above normal, while fresh model updates expected overnight will likely refine resolution criteria ahead of market close.
