Current National Weather Service and private model guidance for downtown Los Angeles and coastal stations points to a Monday night low in the mid-60s °F under a developing marine layer, with patchy fog and light onshore flow limiting radiational cooling. This aligns with the 64–65 °F climatological average while remaining well above the 55 °F historical record. Trader consensus remains split because small differences in marine-layer depth, cloud cover timing, and wind speed can shift the minimum by several degrees; the near-even implied probabilities between the 68–69 °F and sub-55 °F bins reflect this narrow forecast spread and the binary resolution of the daily minimum. Updated model runs and NWS briefings over the next 48 hours will likely tighten the range.
