Forecasts for Miami on September 2 indicate a typical late-summer pattern with highs near 88–90 °F amid high humidity and dew points in the mid-70s. Afternoon convective thunderstorms, driven by diurnal heating and sea-breeze convergence, introduce the main uncertainty: earlier or stronger storms can cap the daily maximum through evaporative cooling and cloud cover, while delayed activity allows temperatures to peak higher before rain arrives. Current National Weather Service guidance and ensemble models show this narrow range around the 88–92 °F thresholds, with no strong signals for extremes. Traders’ even odds across bins reflect this genuine forecast spread, which will tighten with the next model runs and short-term guidance issued closer to the date.
