Québec solidaire enters the October 5, 2026, election with 11 sitting MNAs, concentrated in Montreal strongholds such as Gouin, Mercier, and Sainte-Marie–Saint-Jacques where recent seat models project the party as safe or likely winners. Aggregated polling and riding-level forecasts from sources including 338Canada place QS on track for 3–11 seats despite a provincial vote share near 10 percent, reflecting efficient geographic concentration rather than broad support. This established base and limited volatility in urban ridings underpin the 95.5 percent implied probability that the party secures at least one seat. Late-campaign developments that could still shift outcomes include sharp turnout drops in core districts, unexpected gains by the Parti Québécois in toss-up ridings such as Taschereau or Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, or major polling realignments before election day.
