Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate mostly sunny conditions for Los Angeles on September 4 after morning low clouds and fog, with highs expected in the mid- to upper 70s at coastal stations like LAX and upper 70s to low 80s inland. This aligns with early September climatology featuring persistent marine layer influence that moderates peak temperatures near the long-term average of 76–77°F. Stable atmospheric patterns with southwest flow and no significant heat advection or offshore winds support the market's strong preference for the 76–77°F bin at 49% implied probability, while lower odds on 78–79°F and above reflect limited upside potential absent forecast shifts.
