Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Los Angeles on September 4, 2026, points to an overnight low in the mid-60s Fahrenheit, driven by a persistent marine layer and light onshore flow that limits radiational cooling near the coast. Historical averages place the September 4 minimum near 64.5°F, with recent days showing 64–66°F readings amid stable high pressure. Trader consensus clusters around 62–67°F bins because small differences in marine layer depth, wind speed, or urban heat island effects can shift the exact low by 1–2°F, while clearer skies or stronger winds could push it lower. No major weather systems are expected to alter this pattern before dawn, keeping probabilities tightly grouped until final observations.
