Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a partly sunny pattern for Seattle on September 1, with a high near 72–73°F driven by moderate onshore flow and limited daytime heating under variable marine layer influence. This aligns with early-September climatology, where the average high reaches about 74°F amid the seasonal shift toward cooler Pacific air masses. The leading market-implied probability for 72–73°F reflects consensus across short-range guidance showing minimal warming potential before a frontal system arrives on September 2, while lower odds for 74–75°F or above account for possible model spread in cloud cover or wind. Updated runs emphasize low risk of outliers given current steering patterns and sea-surface temperatures.
