Latest National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance for Seattle on September 6 points to a high in the low to mid-70s under mostly sunny skies with light northerly flow, supporting the market's tight clustering around 70-73°F. Persistent high pressure aloft and reduced marine layer influence allow greater daytime heating compared with the cooler, cloudier pattern earlier in the week, though subtle variations in cloud timing or boundary-layer mixing could shift the peak by a degree or two. Historical climatology for the date centers near 73°F, providing a baseline against which current guidance shows only modest anomalies. Updated model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion will offer the clearest signals for any late adjustments ahead of resolution.
