In the Oeiras 3 Challenger round of 16 on clay, Portugal's Jaime Faria (#142) faces Chile's Nicolas Jarry (#156) in a rematch after Faria's three-set qualifying win over Jarry at Rio de Janeiro in February 2026. Faria advanced past Guy Den Ouden 6-7(1), 6-2, 6-4 in the R32 two days ago, leveraging home crowd support on his favored surface, while Jarry rebounded from Madrid Challenger quarterfinal success to beat Elmer Moller 6-2, 3-6, 6-0. Jarry's height advantage (6'6") aids his big serve, but Faria's recent clay momentum and head-to-head edge shape a competitive trader consensus, with both dropping a set en route here amid no reported injuries.
