Fred Kerley's lifetime best of exactly 9.76 seconds in the 100 meters dates to 2022, with no faster legal mark since. Recent legal-season performances have clustered in the 9.81–9.87 range, and his winning time at the Enhanced Games stood at 9.97 seconds. Even with performance-enhancing substances permitted, the gap from his established peak to sub-9.76 remains substantial given age, training history, and competition context. Trader consensus at 100 percent reflects these measurable barriers, while acknowledging that an unexpected breakthrough in technique or recovery could still shift outcomes in future appearances.
