The Goiás Senate race features two seats, with Gracinha Caiado holding a clear lead in recent polls while multiple candidates remain closely bunched for second place. Trader odds reflect this fragmentation, as names including Ernesto Roller, Gustavo Mendanha, Gustavo Gayer, Dr. Zacharias Calil, and Vanderlan Cardoso sit within a few points in surveys conducted after candidate registrations closed in mid-August. Party diversity, regional bases in the state’s agricultural interior, and the absence of a dominant second-tier frontrunner keep the contest open. Late shifts in alliances, turnout among center-right voters, or targeted campaign spending in key municipalities could separate the pack before October voting.
