The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the London City Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/gb/london/EGLC. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Official Met Office observations from London Heathrow Airport—the standard reference for such markets—confirm the highest temperature on May 11 reached exactly 12°C, amid persistent low cloud, cool northerly winds, and an unstable polar air mass that capped daytime heating. This aligns with pre-event consensus from UKMO and ECMWF models, which forecasted subdued maxima below the mid-May climatological average of 16–17°C due to high pressure to the north blocking warmer southerly flow. Trader sentiment reflects this skin-in-the-game validation of verified data, with 100% implied probability. Realistic challenges are minimal post-event but could include rare data revisions from quality control or disputes over station selection (e.g., St. James's Park vs. Heathrow), though official reporting timelines indicate stability. Next hourly/daily summaries expected within 24 hours.
