Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts for Los Angeles on September 14 point to a high in the upper 70s to low 80s, aligning with the market's leading 78-79°F bin at 47% implied probability. Persistent marine layer and onshore flow from the Pacific are expected to limit daytime heating despite sunny afternoon conditions, consistent with the 76.3°F climatological average high for the date. Light winds and typical September humidity levels further support moderate readings near LAX and downtown stations, with minimal risk of the 86°F+ outcomes currently priced below 10%. Updated short-range guidance and any overnight marine stratus persistence will be the next key data points before resolution.
