Short-term temperature forecasts for Toronto on September 14 show substantial ensemble spread across major models, with minimums clustering near 6–12°C and reflecting the close market-implied odds around 50% for 6°C or below versus 46% for 12°C. Key drivers include the evolving position of the jet stream, potential high-pressure ridging, and the timing of any passing frontal systems, which can shift overnight lows by several degrees. Historical September variability in the region, combined with typical 2–4°C uncertainty ranges in 48-hour guidance from agencies like Environment Canada, sustains this balanced trader sentiment ahead of updated model runs.
