Recent India Meteorological Department forecasts for Lucknow indicate a maximum of 30°C on September 8 amid overcast skies and spells of rain or thundershowers, consistent with active monsoon conditions that limit solar heating and suppress daytime peaks. Recent observations show maxima near 33°C with scattered rainfall, while model consensus from sources like IMD and international guidance points to near-normal temperatures for the Gangetic plains. Cloud cover, elevated humidity, and precipitation probability around 70% create the primary downward pressure on highs, positioning the 30–32°C range as the trader consensus. Updated model runs and official briefings ahead of the date remain key variables that could shift implied probabilities if clearer skies develop.
