Forecast models from Malaysia's meteorological agency and international sources indicate mostly sunny to hazy conditions over Kuala Lumpur on September 6, supporting daytime maxima near 35°C amid light southerly winds and moderate humidity. This aligns closely with the September climatological average high of 32–33°C while remaining well below historical September extremes near 36–38°C. Haze from regional biomass burning may enhance afternoon heat retention without significant cloud cover or precipitation to moderate temperatures. Traders are likely focusing on the narrow spread between official forecasts and ensemble model runs, with resolution hinging on the precise daily maximum recorded at the primary observing station. Updated model guidance expected in the next 24–48 hours could refine this outlook ahead of the market's close.
