Current forecasts from agencies including the Met Office and regional models converge on a daily maximum near 33–34°C for Kuala Lumpur on September 4, aligning with the market’s leading 34°C (43.5%) and 33°C (28%) outcomes. Typical early-September highs average 32–33°C under the influence of the southwest monsoon, with high humidity, scattered showers, and occasional haze moderating peak readings. Recent observations show similar conditions persisting amid light rain and variable cloud cover that can suppress or allow brief warming. Traders assign lower probability to 37°C or higher given limited intensification potential before resolution, while cooler outcomes remain unlikely absent stronger precipitation. Updated model runs and official observations over the next 48 hours will refine these implied probabilities.
