Current forecast models from sources including GFS and ECMWF consensus indicate a maximum temperature near 23–25°C in Mexico City on September 20, consistent with the city's 2,240 m elevation and typical late-rainy-season conditions featuring afternoon cloud cover and scattered showers that limit peak heating. Recent runs show modest upside potential from variable humidity and occasional clearer intervals, which helps explain trader emphasis on the 26°C outcome at 47.5% implied probability alongside 27°C or higher at 35.5%. Historical September highs average 23–24°C, providing context for the distribution, while overnight model updates from official agencies will clarify any shifts in diurnal warming before resolution.
