Latest forecast models from sources including ECMWF and GFS indicate daytime maxima near 23–26°C for Mexico City on September 19, driven by variable cloud cover, light northerly winds, and limited afternoon precipitation that may allow brief periods of stronger solar heating. At the city's 2,240 m elevation, typical September conditions feature convective showers that often suppress peaks below seasonal averages of 23–25°C, yet recent model runs show reduced rainfall odds and slightly warmer boundary-layer temperatures compared to the prior week. Market-implied odds favoring 25°C or above reflect trader weighting of ensemble consensus and historical analogs over more conservative local guidance, with resolution hinging on official CONAGUA observations amid inherent short-term forecast spread.
