Recent forecasts for Mexico City on September 18 indicate highs near 22–25°C amid the rainy season, with scattered light rain and variable cloud cover from regional moisture and weak low-pressure influences. These conditions limit daytime solar heating and promote evaporative cooling, anchoring trader sentiment around the closely matched 24°C and 25°C-or-higher outcomes. Key differentiators include model spread on afternoon convective timing and wind patterns that could allow brief clearing for an extra degree or two versus sustained overcast suppressing peaks closer to 23°C. Historical September averages near 23–24°C at the city’s high elevation further frame the narrow distribution, with official updates from Servicio Meteorológico Nacional expected to refine resolution criteria.
