Recent forecasts from models including GFS and ECMWF indicate Moscow’s September 19 high will likely peak near 17–19 °C under southwest flow, persistent cloud cover, and scattered light rain or showers that limit insolation. These conditions follow a frontal passage on the 18th that lowered daytime maxima while keeping the airmass mild for mid-September. Historical climatology places average highs around 16–18 °C, providing context for the narrow distribution traders favor. With only two days until resolution, updates to short-range guidance on cloud thickness and precipitation timing represent the main variables that could shift the exact maximum by 1–2 °C and thereby influence the current market-implied probabilities centered on 19 °C.
