Current forecast models from the National Weather Service and other sources indicate Atlanta's overnight low on September 19 will likely settle in the low 70s amid scattered thunderstorms, elevated dew points near 66–70°F, and light northeast winds that limit radiational cooling. Persistent late-summer warmth, high humidity, and cloud cover from afternoon convection are suppressing the typical seasonal drop toward the 64°F historical average. The near-even market weighting between 72–73°F and 74–75°F reflects minor model differences in the exact timing of the minimum and any additional moisture or wind shifts overnight, with lower bins priced for cooler scenarios if clearer skies develop. Updated guidance ahead of the 48-hour window will clarify these variables.
