Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is initially published for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Official Hong Kong Observatory forecasts for September 17 project fine, dry conditions under a persistent northeast monsoon and high-pressure ridge, with a daytime maximum of 31°C, east winds at force 4 occasionally 5, and low rainfall probability. This aligns with recent district readings near 31–32°C amid clear skies and moderate humidity, positioning 31°C and 32°C as the market leaders by reflecting model consensus and minimal day-to-day variability. Traders weigh the dry spell’s warming effect against typical September climatology, where highs often peak near 30°C, while noting potential for slight upward revisions if subsidence strengthens further before the daily maximum is recorded.
